Kathleen Manza L.Ac.

Acupuncturist

I’m a California State Board Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist serving the Santa Cruz County community. I earned my Master’s in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University, where I focused on women’s health, orthopedic medicine, and pain management. I’ve also trained in neuromuscular facial and cosmetic acupuncture techniques and am certified in Clean Needle Technique by the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

My approach to care is truly holistic. I believe true health means caring for the whole person — mind, body, and spirit. Our bodies are designed to heal naturally, and when we address the root causes such as lifestyle, diet, and environment, we create real opportunities for healing and lasting change.

I love blending the wisdom of Eastern medicine with the science of Western and functional medicine to support each person’s unique healing journey. My passion is helping people feel empowered to take better care of themselves. When we do that, we not only feel better physically, we start to notice positive shifts in every part of life.

When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll usually find me hiking, foraging for wild edible mushrooms, hunting for antiques, soaking up the sun by the river, or cooking healthy meals to share with family and friends.
